I Have Completed One Year of Hare and Ke Intermittent Fasting

The manuscript of Ikigai Bio-Hacking has been formatted. It looks fantastic. I could never have done it like this by myself. Now, I am having the book cover made. It looks like I can publish it on February 22nd, as I planned.

Last Friday, I finished the fourth quarter of my Hare and Ke Intermittent Fasting. That means I have just completed one year of intermittent fasting.

Initially, I wasn’t sure if I could continue it. I just tried doing it for three months because our metabolism changes in three months and I would feel some improvement. Also, once you continue your action for three months, you have made it a habit, and you would be able to continue it even longer. Instead of trying to do it for a long time, I set an ending to make it achievable. That was how the quarter system was born.

I completed the first three months, and decided to continue after a week’s break. Taking a week’s break between the quarters turned out to be great. That means this week, I am taking a break.

In the second quarter, I tried out 17 hours fast. and in the third quarter, I began doing 24 hours fast one day a week. The quarter system enables you to try different strategies.

So, this one year has been an experiment on intermittent fasting for me. I tried 16 hours fast, 17 hours fast, 24 hours fast, 36 hours fast, and 48 hours fast. I did dinner to dinner 24 hours fast, and lunch to lunch 24 hours fast.

I now know what style of intermittent fasting is the best for me.
