The Manuscript of Ikigai Bio-Hacking is being Copyedited

I have finished my final draft, and yesterday, I sent my manuscript to the copyeditor. Now it is being edited.

I am excited. The book is slowly coming into shape.

It was one of the lucky days to initiate a process.  It was a day of the tiger. I think I told you before that we have lucky days in Japan such as Ichiryumanbai-bi, Mino-hi, Tensha-bi, and Torano-hi, the day of the tiger. Yesterday was one of those days and it was particularly good because it is the year of the tiger this year and it was a double tiger day. Because I was born in the year of the tiger, it was especially good for me.

It has been snowing a lot this winter. We have some snow every year but usually 5 or 6 snowy days in one season. This year, however, we have already had 5 or 6 snowy days and it is still in the middle of January. It is great for Nordic walking though. You get a hormetic effect from the cold weather, as well. You feel like you are in Scandinavian countries, too. One drawback of walking on snow is that I find it difficult to keep my spine straight during walking. It is easier to walk with your back straight on the soil ground than snow.

Anyway, it is Friday, the last day of my intermittent fasting, in about a few hours’ time, I’ll be completing this week’s fasting.
