Yesterday, my son and I walked all the way to Hino Station. This is usually our cycling route, but this time we tried walking there.
I had my Nordic poles but my son just walked.
It was much longer than my usual Nordic walking route, so I can almost call it Nordic trekking. We took the bus on the way back this time, but if we do a round-trip walk, it will definitely be like trekking.
I prefer walking on flat land, so it is good for me to go Satoyama Nordic trekking instead of mountain climbing. The great thing about Satoyama is that we get to walk along rice fields and sometimes walk through villages. Unlike mountains, you can see human life here.
