Cleaning Up My Study for the Spring Equinox

One thing you can do for your well-being is to clean up. It doesn’t seem related to your health, but when you think about it, living in a clean environment can benefit you in many ways.

It makes you feel good, and it is important to your wellness.

From Feng Shui’s point of view, the house you live in or the room you are in affects your fortune. It is always better to keep your space tidy.

Well, to be honest with you, that is something I am not good at. I am one of the messiest persons in the world.

Especially, my study, I tend to keep it messy. I kind of like to have books and documents here and there. I need them for my research. Yes, I am a typical writer in that sense. The messiness even helps me with my creativity.

However, now, I made a decision to keep my study tidy.

Someone told me it is crucial to do it before the spring equinox this year. The spring equinox is regarded to be the new year day of the universe, and this year, it is the first universal new year since we entered the Age of Air.

Actually, it isn’t just cleaning, throwing away things you don’t need is the key. That means old books, old clothes, or any other things you no longer need.  That includes old habits, too. Since you are moving to a new age, you want to shift to a new pattern.

Cleaning up has two meanings for me; throwing out old things, and releasing my old habit of being messy.

You know what? It feels good. It feels much better than before and puts me into a positive mental state, which will affect my health.
