Nagano vs. Okinawa: Which is the King of Japanese Blue Zones?

I uploaded a new video today. Nagano vs. Okinawa: Which is the King of Japanese Blue Zones?

The other day, I made a video called Seven Longevity Secrets of Nagano, the King of Japanese Blue Zones.

I called Nagano the king of Japanese blue zones because it is currently the top in the national longevity rankings. Well, actually Shiga is the top for men but Nagano came in 1st for women and Nagano has been within the top three in the last few rankings.

What happened to Okinawa?

Okinawa used to be the champion. That is why Okinawa is known worldwide and it has been introduced as one of the five blue zones in the world.

Unfortunately, Okinawa has fallen down, and it has been ranked much further down in the last few decades. It has the highest obesity rate in the country now.

How did it happen?

Well, it isn’t Okinawa’s fault.

Centenarians in the northern part still practice their traditional diet and they retain their traditional lifestyle, which is still relevant today.

You can’t make a real comparison unless you compare the traditional lifestyles of the two.

So, that is what I did, and who is the winner then?
