Find it Difficult to do Workouts? This is for You

This is wine made from black grapes and it says that it has three times as much resveratrol as regular red wine. I found it at the supermarket.

I have been talking about different exercises such as river swimming and lake swimming, but for some of you, it isn’t easy getting out and do any of these workouts. Even walking is hard if you are to do it every day. Today, I will share with you something easy and fun for people who are not really into doing sports.

But not regular dancing. YouTube dancing. All you need to do is to find your favorite dancing music on YouTube and you dance with it in front of your computer or smartphone.

You don’t have to be able to dance well. As long as you are moving your body, any movement is okay. The idea is to move your body to exercise, not to perform. Nobody is watching you, you just have a private fun time with it. Preferably, choose the music you used to listen to when you were younger because such music can remind you of your youth. That itself makes you feel younger. For example, I sometimes dance with 80s Eurobeat since it was popular in my 20s.  The Loco-motion by Kylie Minogue is a good one. It has a wonderful dance rhythm. You can even choose the original by Little Eva from 1962 if you like.

You can do it during your break. After working with your computer for a while, just take a five-minute break and do the YouTube dance. If you do it several times a day, it will be a great workout.

I sometimes do that for 30 minutes or so with different songs and have fun with it. I stand on my right leg and then switch to the left leg, I flex my biceps, triceps, and do some squats to move as many different parts of my body as possible.

I enjoy it so much because it takes me back to the good old days. So mentally it makes you feel positive and it can become your Ikigai.

I would say it is even better than HIIT for this psychological aspect.
