I Have Begun the Third Cycle of Hare and Ke Intermittent Fasting

Now I am back on my regular schedule after the long interval. I told you that I completed the second three-month cycle of my Hare and Ke Intermittent Fasting two weeks ago. I kind of took a two-week break from intermittent fasting. I said kind of because I did practice intermittent fasting during Lion’s Gate Opening from August 4th to 11th. Anyway, starting today I have entered the third cycle of my Hare and Ke Intermittent fasting.

I went Nordic walking this morning and the ears of rice are all out now. This is one of the pleasures of Satoyama walking that you get to see the seasonal changes and how rice goes through different stages of its growth. Harvesting will begin soon.

It is an exciting period, and yet, it is the time when monkeys appear. Some farmers I know are struggling with monkeys.

In the third cycle, I will continue with 17 hours fast on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, but I will try not to have lunch on Wednesday, meaning I will do 22 to 24 hours fast. In the second cycle I had vegetables only for lunch on Wednesday, but this time I will even stop having veges.
