My son and I enjoyed our lake swim yesterday.

In Japan, we’ve entered the Obon holiday, marked by yesterday’s public holiday. Obon is an annual Buddhist event where we honor our ancestors. During this time, it’s believed that the spirits of our ancestors return to our world for a temporary visit. Just as Christmas or Thanksgiving in the United States, many people travel back to their hometowns to observe this occasion.

Due to the holiday, there won’t be a new video to share today.

Actually, I had a video ready for today, which I diligently prepared over several days. It involved capturing numerous photos and recording multiple takes. Unfortunately, my voice became hoarse by the time I completed the last take. I’ve decided to retake it on Monday, ensuring its quality matches my standards. I’m looking forward to presenting it to you soon.
