I uploaded a new video on how to make natto from a wild plant by natto king.
It is a bit like my blog post How to Make Natto From Rice Straw Sticks,
but, I have been requested by many people to do a video on it.
This time, I updated some of the elements in How to Make Natto From Rice Straw Sticks. For example, now I don’t use cling film to keep the moisture, I use a cotton cloth. I use a stainless base instead of cups to put in the pressure cooker. The way on the video is easier than the way in the blog post.
Also, it isn’t always easy to get hold of local organic rice straw sticks or even wheat straw sticks unless you know some farmers in the area.
Mint or some other herbs are easier to find and you can always grow them in your garden.
Anyway, please watch the video and share it with others because I think it probably is the only one showing a natural way of making homemade natto. And please try making natto yourself!
