Christmas in Japan
Why do we celebrate Christmas in Japan?
I made Christmas pudding and Stolen this year and guess which one everybody liked better.
On the Great Conjunction day, we had fermented foods, stewed food, steamed food, and raw food, with plenty of veggies and beans.
On the Great Conjunction Day, I planted seeds, went Nordic walking, and communed with natural elements in the forest.
For dinner, we had squashes since that is our tradition in Japan at the winter solstice.
We are supposed to enter the Age of Air after the Great Conjunction on December 22nd, 2020.
I have finally reached 200. Yes, it is the 200th post since I started writing this blog.
It was a day of financial fortune today according to the Japanese lunar calendar, so I went to a Benzaiten shrine in our town. Benzaiten is Sarasvati in Sanskrit, and is said to give you wealth, and it is good to visit a Benzaiten shrine on a day like today.
