Shiwasu: December Has Come
December is Shiwasu in our old calendar.
Every neighborhood has a shrine and looking after the shrine is the biggest part of the neighborhood association’s work.

It was August 8th yesterday, the day the opening of Lion’s Gate Portal was at its peak. We went on a Lake Biwa cruise, from Nagahama to an island called Chikubu Island in the middle of the lake. Chikubu Island is recently known as a power spot, and it is one of the most popular spots in Shiga Prefecture.
